On Saturday, February 23rd, a group of QuickChekers participated in the 26th annual Polar Bear Plunge. This event takes place in Seaside Heights, NJ each year in March. This year’s plunge fell on an overcast day and the water temperature was right above freezing but that didn’t stop 7,458 participants from completing their challenge. With 50,000 spectators cheering them on, in they went.
Among those 7, 458 participants were 12 Team Members from District M!
The 2019 Polar Plunge was the biggest yet bringing in a record $2.3 million for Special Olympics. Our group from District M raised $3,404 of that $2.3 million! Way to Go to District M for supporting our communities and the Special Olympics and for putting yourselves to the test for a good cause!
