QC Swings Full Force for the Community Food Bank of NJ

Last Thursday was the annual QuickChek fundraising Golf Event. The proceeds from this year’s event, coordinated by Lou Linares, are being donated to the Community Food Bank of NJ. Thursday was a beautifully sunny day and very WARM, to say the least. Despite temperatures reaching into the 90s by mid-afternoon, QuickChek Team Members and vendors hit the links in two separate sessions.

A big WAY TO GO to Lou Linares for coordinating a wonderful event and a huge THANK YOU to all of our QuickChek volunteers who spent time putting the event together and making sure the day ran smoothly. We would also like to thank all of our vendors who support us and our charitable causes – we could not do it without you.

Mary O’Connell, the Check Out Hunger Coordinator from the Community Food Bank of NJ was also present at the event to share a little bit about the food bank and their relationship with QuickChek with our guests. Thank you, Mary, for dedicating some time to come out to the event and we are glad to partner with the Community Food Bank of NJ for a good cause!
