Steve Evanowski and #105 Team Top Fundraisers!
On February 7, 2017, we presented the Community Food Bank of New Jersey with a check for $148,500 raised from our stores’ six-week Check-Out Hunger campaign. In the three years we have been a Check-Out Hunger campaign partner, we’ve raised $433,500.
The check presentation took place at Store #105 (River Road, Piscataway, NJ), which raised $11,049; the largest amount of all the locations. WAY TO GO for Team Member Steve Evanowski, who helped his store raise the most money in this campaign – nothing holds this guy back from giving to those in need!
Thanks to everyone for such a successful fundraiser! We’re so proud of all your efforts to support our goal of giving back to the great communities that support us!
A rare muscular illness doesn’t prevent Steve from helping raise money for others in need. Working in a specially-designed, one-of-a-kind chair lift system that we created just for him, his outgoing personality and cajoling of customers helped raise $148,500 during the recent Check-Out Hunger campaign benefiting area hungry families in need. Check out the News12 New Jersey TV interview with Steve below!
