Last week, Alan Szary and the team from store #1, in Dunellen, hosted a group of special needs students from Dunellen High School. Alan gave a tour of the store and spoke to the students about job opportunities within QuickChek and the responsibilities of different Team Members and the tasks they complete each day to get daily work done.
Each student was provided with a $10 QuickChek gift card to purchase lunch. The students practiced budgeting before visiting the store by assessing what they wanted to purchase with their gift cards vs what they had to spend.
The students had a great experience and the teacher called to thank Alan for his time and for hosting the students. Way to Go, Alan and team, for caring about your community and taking the time out of your day to support local students!
