A little known national event that occurs is something called Coffee with a Cop. This national event occurs on the first Wednesday of every month. In Toms River, March’s monthly meeting was held at QuickChek store #155. Store Leader Sara Golzio and her team hosted the Toms River Police Department on March 6th.
The goal behind this event is to strengthen the relationship that police departments have with their communities. Local residents are encouraged to come out to ask questions and get to know the members of their local police departments.
