National Food Safety Month

September is National Food Safety Month. National Food Safety Month was created in 1994 to heighten awareness of food safety education. Each year, there is a new ‘theme’ as the area of focus.

The focus this year is on the Culture of Food Safety. Within the restaurant and food service industry, food safety is synonymous with a company’s reputation.
