Continuing our dedication to Hope for the Warriors, QC served as a Silver Sponsor of the 9th Annual Long Island Run for the Warriors on Saturday, November 12th, in Lindenhurst, NY.
Blustery November weather chilled the bodies but not the spirits of the runners participating in the 10k, 5k, or the 1-Mile fun-run. We donated 500 David’s Cookies and 125 cases of QuickChek water for the runners and the event. Representatives from #141, our Lake Grove, Long Island store and our Real Estate Department were on hand to cheer on the participants, and host the QC booth.
The event raised awareness and funds for Veterans wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan, their families, and families of the fallen. We’re delighted to celebrate our Veterans’ strength and resolve!
