The Countdown is ON

It’s that time of year again and the countdown is on! Only 70 days until the QuickChek NJ Festival of Ballooning will be here and here’s what YOU need to know!

The 35th annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning in association with PNC Bank is the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America. Upwards of 175,000 people and media outlets from around the world are expected to be in attendance this year. The event, held annually at Solberg Airport in Readington, NJ, truly has something for everyone. From balloon ascensions, music, and rides to vendors, food, and jazzercise the festival is jam-packed with fun stuff to do.

The dates of the festival this year are Friday, July 28th thru Sunday, July 30th. Tickets are available for purchase in our stores and online NOW. Remind customers that the sooner they purchase their tickets, the more they will save. Tickets are most expensive at the gates. We are also offering a $2 coupon via the mobile app beginning on May, 26th that runs all the way until the day before the festival starts.

There will be two concerts on Friday and Saturday and one on Sunday. Lawn seating for the concerts is included with General Admission tickets purchased at QuickChek locations. VIP reserved seats are available only at BalloonFestival.com. See below for the performance listing.

Saturday, July 29th

Sunday, July 30th

3:00pm – Plain White T’s

Balloon ascensions are scheduled for once on Friday evening and two times on Saturday and Sunday (one in the morning and one in the evening). These ascensions are weather permitting so let’s hope for beautiful weather and clear skies!
