To further grow and support our marketing strategies, two new positions have been created in our Marketing Department. Two familiar faces have stepped into these new roles. Bill Tencza is now Director of Center Store and Tim Holiday is Director of Fuel. These new positions are effective as of last week.
Bill has been with us since June of 1990 and began his career in Store #27 in Long Branch, NJ as an Assistant Store Leader. After moving up into a Store Leader position, he made his move into the Marketing Department as a Category Manager. Marketing has been his home for the last 24 years. He was promoted to a Senior Category Manager in 2000. Bill has a Bachelor of Science in Food Marketing from St. Joseph’s University. In his time away from work, he enjoys being with his family. He has been married to his wife, Christina, for over 20 years and has two sons – Billy, age 18, and Danny, age 14. He also enjoys playing soccer, running, working out, and going to the beach.
Tim joined the QuickChek Team in May of 2006 as a Category Manager in the Marketing Department. He was promoted to a Senior Category Manager in 2014. Tim has managed a variety of categories for us including Bread, Cakes, & Cookies, Fuel, Tobacco, and Warehouse Snacks. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business with a Minor in Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In his time away from work, Tim enjoys playing golf and mountain biking.
Bill and Tim will be working with our Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations teams to develop and implement category growth plans that delight our customers, build sales and gross margin dollars, and deliver on our brand promise to be the Greatest Fresh Convenience Retailer.
