Young Entrepreneurs Have HOPE FOR THE WARRIORS

Meghan and Mikayla, fifth-grade students at John P. Faber Elementary School in Dunellen, NJ, got a jumpstart on extra credit for the coming school year – and demonstrated initiative, spirit and gratitude that will last a lifetime as well. The two enterprising sisters read MAKING STUFF TO SELL by Ryan Jacobson, as a summer reading project. They then jumped into action, crafting everything from birdhouses to bracelets and soap. QuickChek provided space in front of the Dunellen Store for them to sell their wares once we heard they are donating their earnings to HOPE FOR THE WARRIORS. Way to go girls: we’re hoping you’ll join our team when you’re old enough!
